08 Nov Christmas Gift Ideas for Country Kids
As a mum it’s easy to buy for my boys, I do spend nearly all the time with them after all. I know what they like, I know what they don’t like and I know what they’ve already got but it can be quite tricky for someone else to buy for your kids, so I’ve kind of based this gift idea list around those people, rather than parents buying for their own.
All kids love toys but it’s easy to buy toys, walk into any toy shop and you’re bound to find some sort of tractor or farm animal set. So instead of filling this space with toys I have mainly focused on clothing and keepsakes.
I don’t even need to write anything do I? You’ve seen the pictures and they speak for them self…. How perfectly, amazingly, beautifully, stunning are these gorgeous items!? I know, I know – There are no words for how exquisite these are.
I have been following Strawberry Latte on Instagram for a while now and am just blown away by this hugely talented lady and the magic that she creates. You will find her shop on Etsy where she sells her ready made items but if you are pro when it comes to stitching and knitting then she also sells her patterns and recipes for a small price.
You’ll find mainly beautiful baby blankets, and hats and scarves for little girls. I don’t think I know any little princess’s that wouldn’t absolutely love these!
Cotswold Baby Co
Established in 2017 by best friends from Cirencester, Kate and Rachel offer beautiful farm and country themed clothing for little ones aged 0-3 years old.
I personally love that farm themed clothes have started to really break through now because a few years ago when my two were babies it was really hard to find anything at all but now we are seeing more and more and they are so beautifully designed too! Cotswold Baby Co do sell lots of other beautiful brands so do check their website but I am focusing on their own products here and how adorable is that fox!?
Their PJS are too cute and I love their ‘Little Farmer’ red tractor range. Any of these products would make a really lovely gift for any farming baby this year!
Cotswold Baby Co have very kindly offered a discount to my lovely readers using code CRAZYFARMER15 at checkout! Expires 30th November and can be used on any item on their website with the exclusion of brand Grass & Air and clearance items.
What kind of gift list aimed at farming littlies would it be if it didn’t include our favourite green tractor!
Tractor Ted offers a fab range of clothing for farm lovers but they also have a huge selection of products perfect for presents so check out their website for dining, toys, bags and of course the famous Tractor Ted DVD! Any farm mad kid will love to unwrap some Tractor Ted this Christmas, I know my boys will!
Stitched in the Shire
All teeny tiny ones that live in the country NEED at least one piece from Stitched in the Shire. I struggle to think of a word cute enough to explain the cuteness that oozes out of Robyn’s (Mummy of the brand) magical stitching hands! Its seriously… cute!
So, there’s the baby headband… I’m so gutted right now that I don’t have a baby girl because every girly one needs a beautiful headband from here… Being totally honest, I’m wracking my brain right now of ways in which to talk Teddy into one… Is that bad?
When i’m not cooing over the headbands the beautiful rompers and gorgeous little nappy pants are melting my heart. The patterns and fabrics that Robyn uses are just flawless, then make them into exquisite pieces of baby clothing and you are sure to be mum (and baby’s) favourite gift giver this year!
Check out the shop for loads of beautiful outfits and accessories.
I love IZZYBEE because it offers something a bit different. A gift box, perfectly picked to suit the child’s age and likes, and posted straight to them! We all remember getting post as kids don’t we? It wasn’t like the heart racing, who-wants-what-from-me-now kind of post that we receive as adults was it? It was exciting!
Each box contains a mixture of goodies from chocolate to magazines, toys to pencils and you pick which theme best suits the child. You could even go that extra ‘mail’ and promise to send a box quarterly. That way the gift lasts all year!
There are so many lovely things out there for farming and country loving kiddies nowadays with many brands being born from the farm, by mummies who were sick of there being nothing available for their lifestyle. I don’t know about you but I personally love to buy from other farming families, and many of the shops and products you see within my Christmas Gift List ideas come from just those sorts of people!
Here are just a few more of my special finds this year…
