Gifts for the Four-Legged

Gifts for the Four-Legged

For many of us our dogs are a huge part of the family, and for the farming community they aren’t just family they’re work colleagues too with many farmers spending more time with their dogs than their own wife! So of course you want to spoil your best mate at Christmas time. I totally get it, my two little Yorkies Sonny-Leigh and Tinkerbelle were my first children and I love to spoil them too during the festive season. So I’ve been searching for the best gifts for your furry family members, and not just the dog!

I am so excited about this one, I’m struggling to hide how stupidly excited I am… I have come across a doggy gold mine!!

Mutts & Hounds is absolutely a bit of me and I’m only sad that I didn’t know about them sooner! Inspired by the Cotswold Countryside you can see that they have ‘country’ at heart and your pooch will look top dog in whatever you choose from their huge range of luxury items. You will literally find everything you could possibly think of in their online shop, from beds and collars to coats and even gift hampers!! I’m off to order one of everything…

Gift Pup

Gift pup specialise in personalised gifts for all of the family and if you check out their website you’ll find all sorts but I loved their wooden dog beds the most and they are really affordable too! They also do a bone advent calendar and a bone Christmas wreath which I thought was a really quirky gift, and something different.

They also do cat beds, we mustn’t forget the cat lovers!

Gifts for the Four-Legged The Crazy Farmer\'s Wife

It’s not often that an online shop brings me to tears but boy did this one. I gathered as soon as I found Sweet William Designs that there must be a story about a black lab behind it and I thought what a great idea to base a business around your dog, but it wasn’t until I started reading the story behind the brand that the tears started to roll. Sweet William is based around Emma’s dog. A dog that stole her heart and you can see through the website just how much she loved her pal. Unfortunately Emma lost her best friend in April but continues to make him the centre of everything she does. Most of us know that pain of losing a dog, Farmer Ben lost his black lab only a few months ago so we’ve very recently gone through this ourselves. It really hit home with me that this business is really something special and I know that you too will love the products.

For dog lovers you’ll find all sorts from aprons and mugs to notebooks, tea towels and even black lab wallpaper! But it was the dog ID tags that initially caught my eye “Oh bugger, I’m lost” and “Have your people call my people” being by far my favourites! Check them out!

Penny & Hound

Boy this one was hard – Hard because I wanted to use every single photo on the shop and website!

The lady behind Penny & Hound is super talented! All of her items are handmade and what can I say? Just wow! Have you ever seen a dog bow (or maybe I should say flower) like it? Breathtaking!

A couple of these amazing products are definitely being purchased for my Sonny-Leigh and Tinkerbelle this Christmas. The only hard part will be what pattern and design to go with as there are so many wonderful creations to choose from – from checked to floral and My Little Pony to Babar. There’s a huge Christmas range too!

The best bit is that it is so affordable! You must check out the website, I assure you that you wont be disappointed.
